EMERGING LEADERS OF THE AMERICAS PROGRAM (ELAP)
ELAP – Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program
The ELAP is a Canadian government scholarship program for students from Latin America and the Caribbean. Through an agreement between COMUNG and the CALAREO consortium, undergraduate and graduate students can participate in exchange programs focused on:
- Academic research development.
- Participation in projects at the host Canadian institution.
- Practical activities and intercultural immersion.
Who can apply?
The opportunity is open to all fields of study, provided the student meets the following criteria:
- Be regularly enrolled in an undergraduate, Master’s, or Doctoral program at one of the COMUNG member institutions.*
- Maintain their link with the Brazilian university from the time of application until the end of the exchange program.
- Possess proven English language proficiency.
